eBay was built on the ethics of empowering people and generating economic opportunities. Since 1995, eBay has encouraged businesses of all sizes to thrive and most recently formed Retail Revival. They planned this program in 2018 to support brick-and-mortar businesses in cities, going through an economic downturn to succeed in a broader audience on the platform.
The launch of Up & Running follows last week’s significant moves to assist the many thousands of small and medium businesses that are currently on eBay. The changes were announced to the vendor community directly, and include deferred fee payments, added seller protections, and 100,000 incremental free listings. These actions reflect a commitment by eBay North America of over $200 million in support programs for existing sellers.
